SME SaaS Storage

Although the primary business model of the File Fabric software is to provide private enterprise software we do also provide a SaaS hosted service for small teams of up to 10 people.

For our hosted service only, we supply this using Amazon S3 storage. If you use our US SaaS hosted Service, this is supplied using a US Amazon storage location, if you use our EU service, this is supplied using an EU Amazon storage location.

What is Amazon S3 ? Amazon S3 Simple Storage Service is an online storage web service offered by Amazon Web Services. Amazon S3 uses the same scalable storage infrastructure that Amazon.com uses to run its own global e-commerce network, and provides scalability, high availability, and low latency at commodity costs.

How reliable is it? Amazon S3 is designed to provide 99.999999999% durability and 99.99% availability of data over a given year. S3 is also designed to sustain the concurrent loss of data in two facilities.

Is any storage included?   Yes, 20GB is provided for each user in your account. Just sign up !

Do I have to use your Amazon S3 storage, can I use my own ?   Of course   you can use your own! We only provide storage for users or companies that don't have their own. You can use your own S3 account or indeed any of the other 60 cloud or SaaS services we support. Unlike other vendors we do not lock you into storage.

Is there anything else I should know about the storage you offer ? Yes

• It is provided with ubiquitous interfaces to make it easy to access. These are WebDav, FTP, and also an Amazon S3 interface.
  
  
• There are Applications for Windows, Mac, Linux,   and also browser plugins for Firefox, Chrome and Safari, as well as mobile Apps for iOS, and Android, or you can just use it for free along with other Cloud Storage Services you can add to your account.
