Access Anywhere can access the Zimbra Mail Server, to use the Zimbra Briefcase as a Cloud Provider.
First you must ensure that the Users (or Class-of-Service or Domain) have the Briefcase feature enabled within Zimbra.
From within your Access Anywhere account, either from the dashboard or by clicking on the “+ Add Cloud Provider” in the File Manager, select “Zimbra”.
In the Provider setup page, you will fill in the following fields:
Name Your Cloud: | Enter the friendly name for your Zimbra files |
Zimbra Account Login: | Your email address on the Zimbra Server |
Zimbra Account Password: | Your Zimbra password |
Zimbra Host: | URL for your Zimbra server |
If you want to have items in the Briefcase indexed for search, check the box on this page.
The Zimbra server needs to have a valid SSL cert, self signed certs will not work.
After this has completed, NAA Access Anywhere will load the metadata for your Zimbra Briefcase. As with other Cloud Providers, Access Anywhere provides bidirectional access, so files saved directly into the Briefcase will show up within Access Anywhere, and files saved through Access Anywhere will appear within the Briefcase natively within Zimbra.
Zimbra may limit the rate at which it processes requests. This page: Access Anywhere Handling of Rate-Limiting Storage Providers explains how Access Anywhere responds to rate limiting.
