The Access Anywhere's real-time refresh functionality enables options for discovering changes made directly (not through Access Anywhere) to the storage without having to run a provider re-sync. Whether or not real-time refresh functionality is possible on your Access Anywhere depends on a setting in Site Functionality.
A provider's effective real-time setting is “on” if Cloud Refresh Mode in the Provider settings is set to Enabled, and “off” if Cloud Refresh Mode is set to “Disabled”.
If the provider's Cloud Refresh Mode is set to “Global” then the effective setting depends on the “Real-time refresh” setting on the org. admin's Dashboard.
“On” means providers set to Global have real-time on, and “Off” means providers set to Global have real-time off.
What happens when you click on the Refresh button in the File Manager depend on provider's effective real-time setting.
For providers with an effective real-time setting of “off”, the File Manager's Refresh menu will show all three options: Refresh, Cloud Refresh and Deep Cloud Refresh.
For providers with an effective real-time setting of “on”, clicking the File Manager's Refresh button does not cause a menu to be displayed. Instead, clicking the button will cause a Cloud Refresh to happen.
