Personal Files & Folders

Personal files and folders are items which exist outside of an organisations typical shared folders. These appear in an individual users personal space, and the files will reside on the organisations default storage.

In the 2401 release, organisation administrators can now control whether end users can create files and folders outside of the organisations personal space.

The setting can be managed from the Organisation Policies under User Governance , Disable upload/private folders in root. For new organisations that are created, the default is ON, thus disabling any personal folders. For existing organisations created before the 2401 release, the setting will remain OFF for backwards compatibility.
