Linux Tools 4.9.4 - October 2018

  • TLS 1.1 and 1.2 are now supported.
  • The descriptions of the DEB and RPM packages have been updated.
  • Disables access to SME Endpoints when accessed over HTTP.
  • A link to SME's Privacy Policy is now included in the About window.
  • A 1 second pause has been added between retries for failed downloads to compensate for unstable network connections.
  • The version number of the installed Linux tools is now shown in the title of the main Window.
  • When uploading a file to SME, the tools will now always include the file size when communicating with the SME API.
  • MIME types of files were being incorrectly detected in the SME Explorer and SME Sync Center. This has been resolved.
  • Resolves an issue where after configuring a Scheduled Sync, the Sync Center properties would show the Scheduled Sync as disabled. This has been resolved.
  • Qt has been upgraded from v4 to v5.

Linux Tools 5.1.3 - July 2020

  • Support for Ubuntu 19.10.
  • Improved upload/download speed
  • Decrease CPU usage.
  • Added support of M-Stream upload and download in all apps.
  • Added support for direct upload/download, If direct upload/download and M-Stream are enabled and provider support both, then apps will use direct upload/download.
  • Renamed apps, because Ubuntu truncate app name:
    1. 'Sync Center' to 'EFF Sync'
    2. 'Explorer' to 'EFF Explorer'
    3. 'Linux Cloud Tools' to 'EFF Drive'
  • Resolved issue with unique ID generation by using machine ID
  • Resolved the issue of Linux Tool requiring login after machine reboot.
  • Resolved the issue of not being able to download Personally encrypted files
  • Resolved Issue in Explorer, when successful completion of syncing of provider was presented as an “error”
  • Resolved issue where Icons for xlsx & pptx were not displayed in the Sync Centre
  • Resolved issue of Folder Mount failing
  • Resolved Issue when folder could not be unmounted from Drive’s window.
