Adding an OVH Provider
OVH is an international French-based cloud computing company (www.ovh.com ) that offers a range of hosted services including Open Stack Swift compatible object storage.
Create an OpenStack User Account
To connect to this provider you will first need to create an OVH OpenStack user account. This account is different from the one you used to log into the OVH administrator account at https://www.ovh.com/manager/cloud/.
To create a user account see the OVH guide Configure User Access to Horizon.
Copy the generated user id and password.
Look up Project Number
The project number is used as the OpenStack Swift Tenant Name. To look it up, log into the Horizon interface. This is the administrative interface for OpenStack. The project number is shown at the top left of the page:
- OpenStack user ID
- Project number
Configure OpenStack Drive
To configure the OpenStack Drive, Explorer or Access Anywhere Provider use:
- Endpoint: https://auth.clod.ovh.net/v2.0
- User name: OpenStack user ID
- Password: OpenStack user password
- Tenant Name: Project number
