IP Whitelisting / Blacklisting

Access Anywhere provides the ability to whitelist or blacklist IP addresses.

Whitelisting refers to the practice of blocking all IP's except those that are explicitly allowed to communicate with Access Anywhere. Blacklisting means accepting most IP's, but excluding those you believe to be malicious or otherwise wish to avoid.

This can be done on a per tenant and per user level.

Per Tenant

As the Organization Team Administrator navigate to Policies→Security and to whitelist an IP add the IP to the box titled 'Allow access to the File Server only from the following IPs'.

If you wish to blacklist an IP address, and an exclamation mark before the IP address ie. !192.168.1.1

Per User

As the Organization Team Administrator navigate to DashBoard→User and choose the Security Option. From here you can enter the IP's you wish to Whitelist.

If you wish to blacklist an IP address, and an exclamation mark before the IP address ie. !192.168.1.1
