Discovery Operations and Metadata Updates

When Access Anywhere discovers storage contents or changes to storage contents during an initiial provider sync, a provider re-sync, a Cloud Refresh or a Deep Cloud Refresh, it will update its files metadata to reflect what it has discovered as follows:
If Solr Search is Not Enabled
Basic file metadata is updated in the Access Anywhere database synchronously as it is discovered.
If Solr Search is Enabled and Content Indexing is Not Enabled for the Provider
Basic file metadata is updated in the Access Anywhere database synchronously as it is discovered.
Basic file metadata is updated in the Solr search engine database asynchronously starting no later than after the discovery portion of the process has been completed, and possibly sooner.
If Solr Search is Enabled and Content Indexing is Enabled for the Provider
Basic file metadata is updated in the Access Anywhere database synchronously as it is discovered.
Basic file metadata and file contents are updated together in the Solr search engine database asynchronously starting no later than after the discovery portion of the process has been completed, and possibly sooner.
